Candidates applying to AIIMS must have a 10+2 diploma from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/State) with Biology, English, Physics, and Chemistry as their core subjects. Candidates taking their Class 12 board exam in the same year are also eligible to register for the AIIMS admission test.

Candidates can take the AIIMS entrance test as many times as they like until they reach 30.

AIIMS MBBS admissions are open to Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and international nationalities.

All applicants taking the AIIMS entrance exam must be 17 years old as of December 31st of the year in question.
